How to convert salary to an hourly rate
Annual salary = hourly rate × hours per week × 52
Full-time work in Canada is usually 37.5 to 40 hours a week. Paid vacation and statutory holidays are part of a salary, so the 52 weeks include them. Hourly workers usually get vacation pay of at least 4% on top instead.
